It's just a click of a button....NOT - NY Newborn Photographer

Newborn photography hasn't been around for very long. Our 30th year anniversary is approaching and technically, we're all still babies. In the early 90's, Anne Geddes introduced the world to newborn photography, but it didn't really take off as a desirable genre until the digital camera was invented. This is because newborns are not known for having flawless skin. They're almost always a rainbow of colors, flakes, blemishes and acne, making this stage (in the age of film) somewhat undesirable to both photographers and parents. With the invention of the digital camera & photoshop, the retouching process is easier if you have the time and knowledge. While we do have better and safer tools, retouching is not performed with the click a button. Each blemish & pimple is hand-edited and removed one by one.
